i saw that 8 years ago during a preview show of WC 2002.
as far as i remember that ball bounced on the line. didnt it ??? line decisions are very tough, even these days in cricket with the help of technology we see wrong line decisions made.
but todays goal was no way near the line. it bounced two feet inside. LINESMAN should not have made the mistake.

No one mentioned Endo's free kick? Pure Beckham, amazing free kick. Honda's was good too.
And the best goalkeeper of the tournament. Mark Paston of NZ. Cant beat him. He should get a call from a gerat club this summer. I would be surprised if he doesnt.

Eduardo of Portugal was also good. He only conceded one goal in whole tournament.

sulley muntari .... his goal was good but i have seen him score better goals from this range with more power and curl on the ball.
forlans goal was awesome.
but my long time favourite el-loco abreu's penalty was coool ....
BUT NOTHING BETTER THAN DAVID SUAREZ's goal line saves ... ...
first with feet then with hands ... ... he won Uruguay the game for sure

Yeah gotta agree with the Forlan free kick and Suarez GK skills. I dont think he would have been too bad as a GK either. He was a Hero then a Villain then a hero again. All within 2 mins. Lifes so unpredictable :P

Agree. Super accuracy, absolutely no chance for GK.
