You can thank one man for it. Virat Kohli! The man inspired a bunch of new cricketers to follow his path to fitness. Compare with Sachin's group or even Dhoni's, none took fitness to the same level as Kohli and his group.
We don't have anyone like that. Sure, everyone wants to be Shakib, Tamim and co but these guys' body doesn't look athletic. I wish more people followed Taskin cause he could be the reason we see more fitness-concerned players emerging from BD.
Also, I hope this is the end of Sharkar's discussion to be included in the WC. Playing against a bunch of emerging kids and trying to score those nifty 40+ scores means nothing. Bowlers like Starc, Wood, and co won't chuck you lollypops. This joke needs to end.

Indeed, given the start we had, all we had to do was get close by rotating the strike. Required run rate was never an issue. Saif and Tamim both threw their wkts away while being set at a crucial stage

Off topic but look at what India woman team captain said after today's match..I never laughed so much seeing a pot calling kettle black comment
"The next time we are coming to Bangladesh, we'll have to have to prepare ourselves to deal with this kind of umpiring"

We should have had a separate thread for this series. I followed it. The women team did exceptially well. This comment is ridiculous. They were 9 down .. lost 1st match convincingly...none of that was umpires fault. Needs to learn to own up and give proper credit.
Toxic comment. Only thing is they should have a review system if they gonna use local umpires. Having said that bangaldeshi umpires have come a long way and has been generally very good.
It was likely legit out... b is just sour.

Evidently Aus women are far far ahead of rest of the women team. Surprisingly Pak women team is below Bangladesh and is minnow level lol.

Bloody slap on the wrists for the Indian Kaur.
She seems mentally unstable as well especially after the BD captain left and she kept smiling like a witch.
The Indian headlines as usual used headlines to favour her ofcourse. From what I have read majority of the Indians are saying this is the umpires fault.
So based on their logic, Indian starting breaking stuff when they dont get their way?
Madan Lal I read actually asked for severe action to be taken.
But in reality what Kaur did was shameful and pathetic. If she is representing India then it wasnt a pretty picture. More Indians should have denounced her actions.

Some backlash now coming in. Good to see there are some sensible Indians out there condemning such action and asking for proper punishment for Kaur.

Doesn’t mean it’s acceptable behaviour for either party
