Now people can see the results, we need Ullah and Mosadekk to fire for us to get 300
Need to be fair here, Sabbir may have recently scored two ducks and a 1 batting at 3 but he's also scored 100, 78 and 54.

Shabbir still deserves more chances. He has potential, something Imrul does not have.
The 2015 world cup proved that.

40 V NZ in world cup
53 V SL
30 V India
42 NO V Scotland

Where as Imrul
5 V India
2 V England
2 V NZ

Explain That?

I do agree its weird nonetheless
One of my best mates from School is Sylheti and he took us several times to his home town. I have not felt the complex there.

I found it in UK and in particular when I went to East London.

I thought we were all Bangladeshis regardless of which area we came from. It is in UK have I felt there truly is a divide

The more this team evolves the more I see shakib as a lower order option, he likes to go out and just hit so once the younger guys are ready to take on more responsibility they should be moved up the order and shakib can become lower order hitter.

4 wickets down and you want to charge the bowler

I think its down the language between Shudho and Sylheti. I mean in UK the moment you tell a Sylheti ur not from that division there is an akward tension in the atmosphere, almost as disgusting as when many Pakistanis react to Bangladeshis. But thats another story off the topic
Don't know bro, haven't met anyone from Dhaka yet. I understand the Shudho Bangla, but don't know how to speak or write, most sylhetis are like that, unless you live in Sylhet town and get to learn it. It's just how it is, nothing to tensed about, be proud of it

I still think Shakib and Shabbir should play lower down the order in ODIs. They are both gambles playing up the order

100 78 when?!

I'll say it again, no one player is bigger than the team, if sabbir needs to sacrifice facing few balls for the benefit of the team, that shouldn't be a problem

Is he in the squad? Quite surprising for the superstar.

5 is fine, he's a gamble but when on song he can rotate strike well and get teams onto the back foot, he's a good transition player for the team, 25-40 is Shakibs time to bat in my opinion
