Yardy is gone also! 12 runs needed .Cant tell how many overs left- prolly 3 to 4. . Its getting really tense! Good, good match though! We were undone because of our 1st innings debacle. We could have won this. Anyway, well played to Jahirul and Sagir.

So sad. While everything looked so much promising yesterday after a great opening partnership, it was never expected that we could lose the match. A draw was always on the card. Guys really batted well to stay at the crease for 67 overs today. But I thought the run were little too low.
Anyway, In my mind, there were many good things in the game which we should take and look forward to the next one.

We opened with spin?
Wouldnt have thought Tushar was brave enough to do something like that.

Pathetic indeed.........and that's really common for BD. How many times BD lost a game from a good position. You are right, that's happening for last 7 years

Guys, I am happy at our teams performance. 4 days ago, many of us thought this would be a one-sided match, given the huge difference in quality between the 2 teams. At least the team showed some resistance and took it to the end.

We got the top 2 scorers and 2 bowlers with 4 wickets each right behind Louden(6). Not bad individual performance.
4 scores of 50+ vs. 2 for Eng-A

not a bad game in the end. sure, we could've done better in the first inning, scored faster in the second, and bowled tighter on the fourth day, but this england side is a strong one, and the gulf of differences between the two teams in terms of both quality and experience is pretty wide. so, i'm not complaining. for these boys, it's the exposure that matters the most, and the ability to display some fighting spirit. results are secondary.

Middle order contributed almost nothing in both innings except TI. This finally made the difference.

Correct! Specially I was dis-hearted by the performances of M.Ayub (5,0) and N. Chowdhury (0,7) which is 12 runs together in 4 innings. Also Nasiruddin Faruq scored only a total of 29 in his two innings. So, basically a total of 41 in those 6 innings which is very poor. We should have a minimum total of 120 from those 6 innings (with an avg of 20). Which means, we were 'at least' 60 runs short.
