Great game. I would have liked a more little quicker finish, but nonetheless it was great win

I am extremely happy to see aftab score today as well, specially since he came in when the spinners were on and many people think he is weaker against spinners. His innings was well paced. And as always good going by SN. Hope Ashfool watches this and get inspired to give a good show if and when he is required.

From what I had seen and from what I had read in cricbuzz commentarary (for the part Channel-i did not show), Aftab was actually struggling a lot to keep a cap on his aggression. He made quite a few hits and misses, tried many times to step down the wicket and hit the spinners only to get the ball rapped on his pad. Someone like Rafique or Razzak could have nailed him easily yesterday, but Zimbabwean spinners were just too defensive to take advantage of him.

Later in the innings, Aftab stopped scoring to give SN a chance to get to his hundred. Love to see such team spirit.

CricInfo tells a different story. Aftab was initially having problem and that didn't last long. He came to his usual freeness after couple of overs. Probably he wanted his 50 and SN's 100.
Also it is a good sign that Aftab is learning to make runs on singles and doubles.
There is no doubt that SN and Aftab are our two best batters.

Didn't have the opportunity to follow the match closely. However that was a very pleasing one. This is the kind of play and win that gives the sense of satisfaction. Hope to see it more often regardless of the opponents. There's nothing like a match that pleases the fans in one hand and boasts the confidence of players in the other.
Congratulations to the Tigers. As for the Zims, hope they will find a way to get out of the SLA spell pretty soon to stage better show.

Very well played by BD.
As expected SN and Rafiq played great game, there is not much to add beyond what other already mentioned.
I would like to add few more things:
- Nice to see some runs from Aftab.
- Razzak's bowling really surprised me. I think he single handedly change the momentum toward BD when he start bowling in power-play. I think his contribution as a ODI bowler is under appreciated.
- Except for Sakib's first few over, he bowled very well. Actually he bowled very well from his ~4th to 10th over. That just tells me, we more exposure, he will bowl better. That’s a very good sign.
- Mehrab looks like to anxious and didn't bowled well. But its too early to say one way or anther. I hope, like Sakib, he will bowl better as he is gains more experience.
- Aftab's innings of kind of shaky at the beginning but at least he scored a decent run as #3. If he continues to score, that will stabilize our innings.
- I thought Shahadat bowled better than Mashrafee. Mashrafee is a known commodity. We know he will bowl better than this, but Shahadat is still unknown commodity for ODI. This kind of performance really will boast his confidence, and we will get a steady #2 strike bowler in our team.
- I understand why Bashar gave Mehrab one over. But I really didn't liked the way he handled last few over. I would rather let Shahadat (instead of Mashrafee) bowl his 10 over. Shahadat was pretty effective in his final spell.
But over all its a good performance from BD. Nothing much to complain about.

The indian commentator and MC commended Bashar on his rotation of the bowlers. FWIW. I didn't get to see so can't say one way or other.
