I'm still speechless. Not sure whether to laugh or cry. Mash's always been unreliable, at best, at the death. I mean if I remember correctly, he had been 2/10(6.0) against SL a few months back, but then managed to be plundered for 60+ off his next 4 overs. But he's really outdone himself here today. Honestly, what was going through Mashud's mind when he decided to take Shahadat out of the attack immediately after he took that hat-trick? And, whats more, why of all people did he decide to bring back Mash? And, failing that even, he handed Mash the final over, knowing full well of his unreliability at the death - we all know how that one turned out. Another example of Bangladesh surrendering the advantage when on top. A shame really. ![thumbs down](images/smilies/thumbdown.gif)

If you have the time you can do a mini match report for Bangla cricket. I don't think anybody but you watched this match. Even ppl who live in BD didn't get to watch it.. so funny.

I wish you were right.
So far, the batting has been below-below-par. Defending <250 against any team these days is a very tough task. Congrats to Zim. Better luck to our boys next one.
We are still behind Zim in rating and its not going to get better if our team do not walk the talk.

This match was proof of the class of Brendon Taylor and his ability to absorb the enormous pressure. He almost grabbed the match from Bangladesh's jaws.
Congratulations to him. He is a wonderful player and a great in the making in my view.
To me this match brought back memories of the Australasia Cup final in 1987 i believe when Javed Miandad hoisted Chethan Sharma of India for a six in the final ball when Pakistan had five runs to get in the last ball.
This must only be the second occassion of such a performance. Please correct me if I am wrong.
On the other hand Mashrafe Mortaza could not simply stand the heat of the match. A lot of improvement needed. However skillful you are without the temperament you can't even succeed in anything. Unable to handle the pressure all his attempted yorkers ended up as full tosses I believe.

I saw eng scored 18 runs in last over against Aus and win so nothing new. But the way we handled it was pathetic. Why Reza only bowled 7 overs when he was really the best bowler we had today.

I hadn't seen the batting scorecard of BD until the end of the match. And when the match is over, after watching the scorecard, I really can't blame our bowlers much, since our batsman did not do their job, scoring only around either 20s / 30s or 50s to 70s do not mean anything unless you can win a match.
Just tell me, anyone, how can we get bowled out, and why do all our top 5 batsman get out only after 30 odd overs in a 50 over match?

Bangladesh and current Zim are at the same level. Sad to see that we are still not a better team than the current Zim. We should be lucky not to be playing against other teams now, otherwise we would have been anhiliated in all the matches.

Yeah our batting is not good, but at the end our bowlers specially Mashrafi did the worst thing. 17 Run in last over...Tail enders are batting....there was no Zaved Miahdad or Michael Bevan....how the Zimbabwe did that....only for Mashrafi's worst bowling nothing else. I am shocked and speechless and it needs time to recover.
