Your comments are up there with mine.
You remind me of this past user called Eclipse who was a Indian pretending to be a Bangladeshi

Liton has gone back to his bad habits absolutely no clue no footwork.
Anamul Haque should never play again for Bangladesh. Absolutely awful.
Shamim really is not mean to play for the senior team. He seems a failed experiment.

I have no idea what you are talking about. I am not Indian. You also need to learn how to spot sarcastic posts.

We all tend to seep into negative state of mind time to time. For instance, I apologize for calling Dominic Cork a 'cuck' for Sri Lankan team in the heat of the match. I felt bad for it. Takes the civility away from the game.
It is very easy to go into that state in the heat of the moment. Key is not to stay there perpetually. No good ever came from a rat-infested mind. Or else might as well read 50 Cent and Robert Green's 48 Laws of Power based on The Prince.
In my humble opinion, it helps to be mindful of what others are going through in personal lives - as not in many of us in rosy state.

This. Is the difference between today and the Sri Lanka and Pakistan games. Never took Nasum to be a good finisher. If we played with the same team we'd have been all out for 200 and no matter how well our bowlers do it's not an easily defendable total.
We just can't do with 6 batsman. We could have if we had one or two batsman averaging high 40s, low 50s performing well consistently like most other countries have.

5 batsman if you consider Shamim a walking wicket.

Nasum showed that he is a better batsmen than taijul. It's is almost certain he will be the other spinner that goes to the WC.
Tanzim looks like he can wack the ball around. Probably good find for the future.
Also Anamul, after all the negativity, you finally got your chance and f'ed it up lol. Only himself to blame

I know some pointed out from Pakistan had Babar done the same it would be called "Selfish" innings. I don't think his was any selfish innings. Partnership wins matches and you prize your wicket. Something our players never got to learn the hard way of putting a price on your wicket!
Unfortunately we never developed any class batsmen like them from young age who plays solid, chanceless sparking innings. Not too many aerial ones and brute force, but solid textbook shots relying on timing. Gill reminded me kind of like Gambhir.
As far as our team, I am thoroughly impressed with the young blood, young gun 2-1-3 Tamzid. He seems like a spirited bolwer and hope overcoaching doesn't ruin his raw style. He has that "Shakib bhai ball-ta amake den shudhu ekbar, wicket uraia dimu" mentality.
|
I agree, Gill played really well. India bat deep and the others could score freely while he remained solid at the other end.
We have these good fast bowlers emerging, but our batting prospects (barring Hridoy and Shanto to an extent) are bleak. In our history, I think only Mominul and Anamul have had an appetite for scoring centuries but the former is only a one format player these days (and had a long run of poor form) and the latter has not been able to overcome his technical flaws.

Sri Lanka got skinned by Indian bowlers. This kind of pathetic batting in a tournament final will hurt for a long time

Yes, complete farce of a tournament with all the rain on and off. Worst loser in this tournament was Pakistan, they lost 2 of their front line seamers. I am glad we did lot of experiment to filter out Shamim/Afif and bunch of others.

India is trying 2 pacers and 3 all rounders approach, similar to what England has been doing. Maybe we should employ something similar? I think we missed the trick of not developing a pace bowling allrounder even someone like Shardul Takur would been good.
7. Mehidy
8. Shaikh Mahadi
9. Nasum Ahmed
10. Taskin
11. Soriful

Please don't tell me you are considering nasum as an all-rounder and thinking about suck mahadi after a dead rubber game which India did not have 2 hoots about

They are not but at least they can connect with the ball at times. If we go with full strength bowling, our tail becomes very long. Fizz, Taskin, Soriful, Hasan Mahmud are all walking wickets. Fizz especially doesnt know how to even hold a bat even after playing so many matches, even someone like Shaheen Shah Afridi can whack a few.

I also feel these guys miss managed Ebadot. At first, they didn't even realize or think he would be good enough for ODI. Now, he is ruled out of the ODI WC. Not everyday we will get swinging conditions, especially in India, these is where raw speeds come in handy.

I always wondered, don't these guys bat durning practice? Even Afg's tailenders can wack a ball or two.

Your bowling will win you matches. Your tail helps but rarely will win you matches if the top and middle order fails. I'll rather go with a full strength bowling

The way the top order is batting especially Liton might as well reverse the batting order and start from the tail enders

The Sri Lankan team read the memo wrong, they thought it was a 50 run match not a 50 overs one

Saifuddin is the all-rounder pacer that you lot are looking for.
