That’s where Bangladesh lacks true passion. You captured exactly my point. In England football fans would support their local clubs through thick and thin and you will see better attendance on a working evening in the cold for even a second division team.

So if a person wants “enjoyment” by taking drugs as their life sucks they should do it?? Hmmm

So, Malan, with his BPL and PSL experience, is handling the pitch better than our morons with decades of experience playing on Mirpur?!

Simple as that.

Its really poor how the senior batsman had no real contribution in home conditions. Also players like Mushfiqur and dare I say Tamim should not be even in the team for ODIs. Even shot selection was garbage.

I don't mind losing to England, they're World Champion in LOI versions for a reason. It pains me to see valuable matches, in months before ODI WC, are being wasted on a crappy Mirpur pitch. We should be looking to build an aggressive batting line up, not a line up to survive on crappy pitches.

It's wasteful to go in a match with three spinners. We need to identify who are the other pacers, besides Taskin (Musta can no longer be an auto choice), who can contain the opposition on true wickets.

The world has moved on last 7 years, some fresh new thinking is needed. No one else nowadays talk about taking home advantage by making low scoring pitches (spinning or seaming) for LOI matches. Unfortunately, BCB and Hathuru are still stuck in past,

Batting has always been an issue for majority of the time. Even in good pitches Bangladesh doesn't score enough runs.

We used to be passionate about our cricket in the past. Gordon Greenidge came and went. WC 99 came and went. Tripe AAA's all came and went. Sir Ash and his Eids came and went.

Now, no one even watches our team play.

I feel sorry for fans who bother buying ticket and going to the stadium. I would walk out as well if we did badly. This team has let us down for over a decade.

I think atleast Mushfiq needs to retire with dignity and call it quits.
Although I agree with your statement (apart from Shakib), it would be a dangerous game taking the likes of Yasir, Nasir, Sabbir, and whoever other modons into the 2023 WC and dropping the Seniors. We will likely succeed more with our half-arse form seniors than those instagram/tiktok models.

I agree that at least Mushfiq should be dropped. Despite being one of the most experienced player in international cricket atm, Mushfiq is still so immature!

Try Towhid Hridoy or Mahmudul Joy in his place.

Mushfiqur is having a horrible time with the bat last one year. He is averaging only 18.
