Coach Salahuddin
I know you all know that Shakib’s favorite coach is Salahuddin and Shakib took his coach to India during ipl and practiced with him. The result is for all to see. I think he is a great coach and have been for many years for a lot of our players. Obviously Shakib is of different breed than rest of our players because of his desire and hunger. But I was wondering can he also help other gadhas in the team as well. I know Neil Mckenzie is doing a great job. Extra help might not hurt the team. Then again I dont see other players benefitting as much shakib because of the lack of hunger, drive etc. your thoughts?

Salahuddin also coached Tamim and Mushfiq if I'm not mistaken.
He'd be a fantastic addition for our players, but BCB is to short-sighted to pick one of their own countrymen for a coaching role, unless its a guy with connections like K.Mahmud.

He was part of a coaching staff during 2006/7. As far as I know he worked with Jamie Siddons and probably with Dav Whatmore. Wanted more responsibility from BCB and maybe did not get it hence moved on.

This guy should be appointed as our head coach.

He has always been considered one of best by the players. Worked under Siddons and was absolutely in love with Siddons. Once Siddons was kicked out after 2011 WC, he was very critical. At the time he went on record to call Siddons to be most technically strong of all coaches he has ever seen. Youngsters like Saumya needs technical help. He needs fine adjustments to his game and short making to go to the next stage. Siddons is the best. I always wanted a second term for the Siddons-Salahuddin pair.
Btw, Salahuddin was the fielding coach under Siddons. And Salahuddin, after the tenure of both were over, said that everything he knows about fielding he learned it from Siddons. You know, Australia did not dominate the world for over a decade without the great support staffs.
