#thedecider Match Thread: 3rd ODI=> Windies v Bangladesh|Saturday, JUL 28 2018|9:30am Local Time|Warner Park, Basseterre, ST LUCIA
Welcome,
St Kitts National Dish- Saltfish and Johnny Cakes
VERSUS
Bhuna Khichuri
2nd ODI was crazy on so many levels.
Now the action shifts to St Kitts, home of Herschelle Gibbs and Matthew Hayden.
A win for BD will see them winning their 1st overseas series in over 9 years, while Windies will be looking to break the streak of losing series after series since 2014.
BD might drop Sabbir for either Liton or Shanto. No way Anamul gets dropped. Windies most likely will stick with the same team. Russell ruled out.
May the best team win. Will be historic regardless

Better be prepared for a Gayle tornado this game. He has been too quiet so far.

Sabbir is completely out of form and can't be relied to finish the innings. Should bring in Nurul instead. Does anyone know what the pitch will be like? Drop Rubel as well and bring in Abu Hider or Jayed (I would prefer Hider).

He will be kept in check. But this ground is witness to six sixes on an over...so that might be another thing

Ground is small; pitch is slightly faster than Providence. A batman's wicket.
I don't know how they are preparing it.

Enough of Subbir, give Liton a game.
Gayle and Lewis are due for a big score, I heard it is a smaller and flat ground, shouod bat first.

I think we should give Shabbir Rahman one last chance, he might fire ,knowing his career is on the line

I just want to say, why do you guys hold such high expectations of the Bangladesh team, although I am no stranger to this phenomena, Bangladesh is essentially still a low level team, I know some of you guys are in denial and state "But we qualified for the finals and beat so many good teams", but the straight fact is, odd wins and rare occurrences happen and these are just a statistical anomaly.
Of course I want Bangladesh to win the decider, and hopefully we can pave the way for something better.
But in the meanwhile, don't expect the current seniors and team to get us anywhere they are just mediocre players(Shakib inclusive). I honestly cannot rate a team that cannlt score 2 runs off 3 balls and 6 runs off 7 balls very highly.
Honestly I think the Australian Football team and Bangladesh Cricket are the same but for their respective sports.

^ Except there is a lot more hope for the Australian football team. You have to be a masochist to support the Bangladesh cricket team this regularly.

Hope shanto gets a shot, and bat him higher at 3/4, definitely not down the order, don’t want him playing if he bats too low.

If Shanto gets a shot then knowing our brilliant selectors it will be for mosaddek or Sabbir as to them any runs from the footwork less hack Anamul is like a century. It will mean he will be batting very low down the order .
Instead of coming in to play as pinch hitter I rather he doesn't get selected , he and mosaddek needs chances in the top order to prove themselves and not get judged based on how far they can hit the ball in end overs

If the ground is small then I think it will be better to draw Mossadek and bring in another big hitter as well. So, Liton and Nurul should come ahead of Sabbir and Mossadek while Rubel should be replaced by Abu Hider or Jayed.

No Nurul is not in the squad, our selectors thought it better to send him away with the A team

A team tours are fine
I'd go
Tamim
Anamul
Shakib
Mushfiq
Shanto/Das
Mahmudullah
Sabbir unfortunately
Mehedy
Mashrafe
Hider
Mustafizur
Make mashrafe play a floating role, what ever the wickets down I want him to come in last 10 overs
He should have come after Ullah and at the very latest after sabbir, Hider can hit well down the order too, so this gives our batting more hitting range down the order
Am very confident in mashrafes and Hiders hitting power at the death
Tamim needs to get 100 if he's Going to play slow, part times like Gayle need to dissappear
Tamim needs to maintain a SR over 80, Shakib needs to keep his form going, another 50 is needed
Rubel needs to be dropped.

Sabbir created another chaos in social media and BCB is investigating it.
This is almost 100% certain that Sabbir will fail today as a result of this pressure.

Or maybe he will use it as motivation to prove his haters wrong.
Then again, a nutless Donald trump is more intellectual than our Sabbir Rahman, so the chances of that happening are slim.

Sub-bir is nothing but an ill-tempered/mannered individual, on top of it he is super inconsistent.
I don't know what to say about him & Nasir.
Anyway, BD batting first, pls no more dot dot dot
Bismillah, good luck.

What's the point of the squad if you refuse to make changes to a poor line up

I would have opted to chase on this ground with small boundaries. Do we know what is even a good total here?

Cottrell to Anamul Haque, 1 no ball, ends up at second slip! Yikes. That has slipped from Cottrell's hand and it's some early catching practice to his right for the slip fielder
