21 Aug 2002 - BAN-A vs KEN CA XI - One Day
Kenya Cricket Association XI v Bangladesh 'A'
Ken 322/5 in 50 & BD A 120/5 in 30
Well, nothing much has changed since 1998.
Kenya, a non-test playing nation can still score over 300 runs against our bowlers inside 50 overs even if they were A team bowlers this time (although Tapash Baisya and Alok Kapali are chosen for the national One Day team).
And our main batsman who should be looking to do the job, still collapses chasing that high target, even if they are A team batsman (although Javed Omar, Md. Ashraful, Sanwar Hossain, Tushar Imran and now Mazharul Haque are all going to be playing for the national One Day team).
What can you say? Tehsin, if you are reading this, I think that this is the perfect time to post my article that I sent you a couple of days back on the main page - even though there are some bad things in it which some people would not like to hear :P.

The reason behind is the popularity of these terms. Most people in the world are used to mate, Amigo, lad. Only a few knows about bhai.

It's Bangali nature...what self-respect can you ask from a nation that get their fashion trends copying from hindi movies? That I am typing in an English messageboard about Bangladesh Criket right now is also highly degrading....

Well now I know, bhai
yes. 1877 the first test was played and in 1868 the Aboriginals went over to play a series before it was an actual game. The abo's were bowling underarm then

Just an observation
We already know that we had to send a weak bowling side, on top of that Kenya is fielding everything (their national team under the pretence of KCA XI, who are they fooling?). Looking at our top two bowling performance, it's obvious that Kenyan batsmen are facing an attack that would get flogged even in the Dhaka league. How so ? Sanwar bowling 7 overs and taking 2 wickets ? Ashraful bowling full overs and getting 2 wickets ? BCB needed to send in some serious bowlers.
I expect more from Ashraful but the little guy really gets battered everytime he goes to bowl. Ghani uncle ki kaaj korchena o k niye r ?
KCA XI 322/6 wkts (50 overs) (K. Obuya 146 n.o., S. Tikolo 33, T. Odoyo 39, C. Obuya 24 n.o., M. Ashraful 2/65, S. Hossain 2/41)
Bangladesh “A” 230 all out (49.5 overs) (R. Islam 41, M. Hoque 31, S. Hossain 52 n.o., M. Suji 1/34, J. Angara 2/51, C. Obuya 1/43, J. Kamande 1/18)

Send ash to mustaq for a 15 day training.
Lets use his bowling along with the highlighted batting. We just might get the first true all rounder.
