A few thoughts

1) This display was Mashrafe's best captaincy - Sad that the final over is going to overlook this. His field placing (especially to Dhawan and Rohit early) was spot on, Bringing in Mahmudullah in the 17th over and Promoting himself as a Pinch hitter to attack the spinners was perfect.

2) Ashwins final over makes me believe we would have scored 0 runs if there was a super over. Playing 5 defensive shots in that over was the dumbest thing I've ever seen.

3) Was nobody thinking of the NRR? You're playing 10 batsmen deep. Even if we won in the final ball we practically eliminated ourselves. You win with 10-15 balls to spare, you have a 25% chance of advancing with a Win over NZ. Instead Ullah and Co decided to sabotage our entire WC campaign

This is a big problem in every Multination tournament we play in. What's the point in these tournaments if we never take NRR into account ever
