Maybe slightly off topic.
Barcelona may come to Bangladesh for a pre season tour in July/August...NOT CONFIRMED YET!

Yeah, i read that too. Barcelona is asking 32 crore taka (3m euro). Plus BFF has to look for their best possible opponent. Add another 20-25 crore to that and that too only to play 1 game. BFF President is now looking for sponsors. What a waste !!!
With that amount of taka, BFF can easily build 15-20 football academy in different regions.

If that's the case, one game will not contribute much in the long term towards the development of our football. Therefore, I would prefer to cancel it. On the flip side, if they were not asking for such large sum, this match could potentially be used to re-popularize football in Bangladesh.

Football is still quite popular in Bangladesh. It's just that Bangladeshi brand of football is not popular anymore.

I think we should try and focus on making the 3rd round of WC qualification before thinking about making the actual tournament. We're even having a hard time with the South Asian sides, how can we expect to beat the East and West Asian sides to get all the way to the WC?

The vision at the moment is very fuzzy and there is no way to see as far as 2022. After SAFF tournament, our football federation is now in need of vitamin A tablets along with the mandatory consumption of "mola" and "dhela" maas.

Football is not for us..Rather than wasting money on this field, we should allocate that fund to other sports like Cricket, chess and shooting..

Seeing how our football team is, it makes me relieved that at least we're competitive and somewhat on the rise in cricket. That's the only team sport where we can make a rise. Rest of the team games we really have no hope unfortunately.

I watched Bosnia make the World Cup 10 years in it's infancy, if you saw the last 10 minutes of CONCACAF qualifying right now ... You would have shed tears for Panama.
When are we gonna have our moment
