I'm also going to BD at the end of December. There is the Tri-series in January. Hopefully I will be able to watch atleast one game from the stadium. never watched any game from the stadium before.

If England decide to rest their seniors it may seriously backfire on them. Facing Shakib in turning pitches won't be easy for their best let alone the replacements. Plus we will have the ICL'ers back which will enable us to choose from a bigger pool. For many of their star players it will be their first trip to Bangladesh and they may struggle with the conditions. And knowing the English media the England team will not be spared if they lose so I doubt they will go for wholesale changes to their regular team.
I hope I can watch some of the matches of this series and the series against India live from the venue.

October/November 2009 Bangladesh VS Zimbabwe (5 ODI Series) (HOME)
January 2010 ODI Tri Series (Bang, Ind and Sri) 2-3 ODI's (HOME)
January 2010 Bangladesh VS India (2 Test Series) (HOME)
February 2010 New Zealand VS Bangladesh (1 Test, 3 ODI and 2 T20) (AWAY)
February/March 2010 Bangladesh VS England (2 Test and 3 ODI) (HOME)
April 2010 Asia Cup (2-6 ODI's) (AWAY)
April 2010 World Twenty20 (minimum 2 T20) (AWAY)
May 2010 England VS Bangladesh (2 Test and 3 ODI) (AWAY)
Overall I don't think this is too bad. There's still plenty of cricket to look forward to.
So from October 2009-May 2010, in 8 months Bangladesh play
7 test matches (India, NZ, England)
18-23 ODI matches (Zim, Ind, Sri, NZ, Eng as well as participants in Asia Cup)
minimum of 4 T20's (NZ and WT20 participants)
Out of these I think Bangladesh should be aiming for 1 test win, 8-10 ODI wins and 2 T20 wins.
Interesting to see that New Zealand have only scheduled one test against Bangladesh. Let's hope this does not become a trend that other countries will follow. Maybe in November/December 2009 Bangladesh can organize some fixtures against the likes of Ireland, Kenya and Afghanistan for a couple of ODI's. This will help both teams. I would prefer these fixtures then another series against Zimbabwe.

If so does happen, England will falter against our spin and we would falter against their pace bowling!

I hope that BCB can arrange a 4 day match with ZIM when they tour BD, also try to arrange a 20/20
match. They have the time, because it is in November, and they do not play international cricket until January, anyhow, I guess that they will be playing the NCL

I really dont think Australia wants to play the Test series against BD. If they do decide to play, they will play with a second string side.
I thought that ENGLAND will not play a test series against BD, but it looks like it is going ahead. Here, they might also give their second tier players a chance.

I am very disappointed none of the ODI will be played in London. Though many will travel to those ODI's the majority of Bangladeshi community will miss out.
England is not what you think it is. For some part of uk if you dont have a car you are scr...d. Looks like ECB is trying its best to place game as far as possible so no one goes and watch so that they have excuse for ICC.
