BanglaCricket Squad Announced
The BCS selection panel have opted for experience for their first World Cup campaign beginning on January 15. The biggest surprise of the announcement was the inclusion of Bourny3, who will return after a one-year absence from international cricket.
The left-hander of South Australian origin was dropped from the recent test and ODI series against Saintsational and Webhostingtalk after a largely unsuccessful domestic season. Bourny has yielded 3 wickets at more than forty representing Team Rasel, however his three seasons of domestic cricket was deemed valuable enough to warrant a place in the cup.
Other veterans who have featured in the BCS system since its beginning are Asif Rahman, Rubu, Tehsin, Hasib, James90 and Ehsan who returns after an eye operation. The squad appears well balanced with an abundance of youth who just recently experienced their first domestic season.
Sunniath and MasterBlaster can also consider themselves fortunate to be part of the squad, after both featured minimally in the recently concluded ODI series. Making way in the side are Omio and Bancan who will now have to work hard to earn a contract before the next challenge.
Asif Rahman is likely to be announced as captain in the following days.
Squad (15): Adel_chain_gang, AsifTheManRahman, Bourny3, Ehsan, Hasib, Hatebreed, Imran78, James90, Lidcombe, MasterBlaster, Miraz, Rubu, Shahriyar, Sunniath, Tehsin

Don't know yet but I'm hoping there to be an extended domestic series (not like the rushed one we just had).

For the sake of keeping the stats accurate, it is best if his name is played under MasterBlaster, or else he would end up having stats under both MasterBlaster and Mahir

Please keep it as MasterBlaster, which is what I'd like to use for simulation and fantasy cricket here at BC! So much for changing the username...

Might be good to get this performance out of the way early.

A middle-order collapse did us in, which is quite uncharacteristic of BanglaCricket XI. All blame should be bestowed upon His Highness, the Right Honorable Captain AsifTheManRahman for not scoring a century to win the match.

Poor start for our team. I should bat at #3
No worries, we'll bounce back.
