Thanks a lot Mohammad bhai..its good he's available for the games against the associates and Worcestershire is also understanding..I really hope Shakib does well in these games..this is what I like about the England domestic league..they play non stop cricket and not only that, they play different versions in the same season..this makes the cricketers more alert and prepares them for international cricket a lot better..Shakib's bowling should be good in these games but he might have a lot of problems with the bat..hopefully he can improve his batting when we play New Zealand in the fall..I wish more players could get county contracts..I feel our cricket could really improve a lot if more of our players could play their cricket in England..

Damn everyone else is getting a break after the series. But shakib's got a busy schedule ahead of him. He will be very tired for the NZ tour back home.

Sanath and Steve Smith was recruited only for T20. Phil jacques is their full time overseas player.

I think you are only allowed to play 2 overseas player at the time but you are allowed to have more than 2 overseas players in your roster, kind of like the IPL. I might be wrong though.

Probably I met this Worcestershire player. I'm not sure, may be it was in 2008 at Dhaka.

This will be good EDUCATION for Shakib. playing in a professional setup against professional players. tactically and mentally he could gain a lot. also technically.

Sakib is in danger of losing his No1 world ranking in the ODIs, he has performed badly with the bat. Hope he improves his batting now against the Associates, or else Afridi will move up. He is OK with his bowlings, but the lack of runs is against him. Amazing how Afridi has reinvented himself with the bat and made those 2 centuries in the Asia Cup whereas Sakib failed badly. If he can make a total of 100 runs, he will keep his place for the time being. I wonder if the Analyst has made him aware of this.

I am confident that Shakib will learn a great deal at Worcestershire. This will be good for him personally but more importantly for Bangladeshi.

he once smashed 195 not out in a Twenty20 match for his under-15 club side Moseley Ashfield

Good to see Shakib getting his mojo back. His figures in game 2, and scores in both game shows he is overcoming the rough patch he was having. Mind you, his performance is crucial for Bangladesh. If he performs really well, it will open up a whole new pathway for Bangladeshi cricketers.
