Coaches who bring the best out of their students given the hand they are dealt indeed need to be mentioned. Sometimes the energy you see and the choice of words - such as treating a team as a family- is FELT easier than expressed in thousand words.
Thanks Richard for your hard work, enthusiasm and support. You have given us what our national team badly needs.
Yes Indeed. It was really good to see him being so passionate and cheering the boys on from the dug-out. You could tell that he really does have a strong bond with them. Really made me think of Jamie Siddo and Eddie Barlow..my favorite Bangladesh coaches. The rest of our coaches were/are just way too corporate for my liking.
I dont think I have seen this much passion about BD from any foreign coach before. His post final interview was very emotional and the way he was celebrating with BD supporters was remarkable.
He trained our boys hard. And thats why I Dont want him close to the national team. Shakib, Tamim will not like him and will make him leave. Let him work with younger boys and help them be tough physically and mentally..Thats what we need actually

Can we get him into the national setup....actually forget it, those guys are a hopeless lost cause. Let him stay with this current U19 batch (technically now U21) and mold them into a professional, fit unit that will take over the national side.
