Yep, I agree with you pompous. Agewise, Masri and Kapali are the future. Biggest disappointment of the year is Ash. I hope Dav can psyche him back to the team.
I suspect Kapali is Dav's fave in the team.

yup...but the thing that struck me about whatmore's quote on kapali is..he actually mentions the word talent...in fact according to him Kapali has oodles of it!!!!
to quote:
"He has oodles of talent and the day he realises how much talent he has got he will be a revelation for the team."
wowowow! Thats some vote of confidence from Whatmore! With the rest of profiles whatmore is cautious and conservative in his assessment...but not in Kapali's case.

Kapali is my favourite player in the BD team as well!!
I am gonna sound like a broken record but I have seen him a lot and Kapali is sheer class, more than anyone else in the team. Even when Kapali scores 10, he just looks classy doing it. This guy is an ideal player for us, especially in Test cricket. Thats why it winds me up so much when people say Kapali is a one-day player. Just because his ODI average is higher than his Test average doesn't make him a one-day player. He has just had gone through a lean period in Tests and he will come back.
I seriously hope Kapali captains Bangladesh some day. He just looks the part.
I was interested to find out what Whatmore had to say about Sumon. But he just said basically that he likes Sumon's aggressiveness. Sumon has the worst technique in the Bangladesh side. Its absolutely pathetic, how we scores runs we will never know. I mean, the guy seriously doesn't know what a straight bat looks like, even his drives are half cuts, but he has outscored everyone in the team. He must have amazing reflexes and coordination. Good for him, I hope he scores many more runs for BD.

Easy on my namesake. Come next series we will be back to usual routine with Sumon going for his century. Actually, BTW Pilot looks good also when he goes for shots, so does Opee.:P:P:P:P:P

I know! He's truly Bangladeshi, raised in the traditional Dangulli school of cricket education.

Kapali is one of the few Bangladeshi player who works his head hard. He has a good cricketing brain and love to play gap shot.
He is the neucleus of the neucleus
