I really smell that Tamim is going to kick off the proceedings for Bangladesh. NewZealand must have to endure a tough day at the office. We just need to win the toss. Toss will be vital in this match. From there on the rest will follow.
These U19 boys will make it my day for sure. From the word go, they will have to jump on the opposition. Have to be ruthless with a killer's instinct. No letdown. No catch dropping. No complacency. No mercy. There is no option but win.

I think our expectation is too high. I think this match can go either way. I hope Bangladesh wins though.

right. i agree. i'll be happy as long as we put up a decent show on this tournament - i don't expect our boys to win the cup or go to the semis or anything of that sort. keeping my expectations under check here - we're not facing easy opponents here.

My predicsion:
If batting first: BD will win by 5 wickets
If batting second: BD will win by more than 60 runs
NZ will not post a score of more than 200

ICC will NOT provide live coverage for the Bangladesh vs. New Zealand match. For preliminary stage, we will get ICC live coverage for Bangladesh vs. Pakistan and Bangladesh vs. Uganda matches.
Information source: MartinW of Cricinfo.

We have added the usual tour bar to the forum heading. Check the subheader directly under the main header.

New Zealand suffered losses in the practice matches and we were in great forms in our practice matches. This tells me that this match should be a piece of cake for us.

ICC web appears to be covering the match between Aus vs. RSA, and SL vs. Scotland for the day. So, hourly update by CI is our only source?

if win this match, it should set us up for a semi appearance or even the cup itself.
if we lose, it may very well result in yet another plate championship (or worse).
biggest game ever for your youngsters.

if u-19 wins big (gets to the semis at least) think of how much time it will buy for the national team.
this is one thing which i realized not too long ago.
if u-19 does well, no matter how poor national team plays, we won't be demoted or anything.
