Default Predict the result of the match vs India on 19th Feb

Guys,

Let's dedicate this thread to the expected outcome of the match vs India on the 19th of February. I will go first.

I predict that Shakib Al Hasan will lose the toss and Ind will send BD in to bat first. BD will score 278. India in reply will be all out for 239.

Final result BD will win by 39 runs.

MOD: Please delete the last thread. I forgot to add the poll. Thanks to AsifTheManRahman Bhai for pointing out.

I can't seem to get the poll to work. Help would be appreciated. I would like to add 4 options:

1) Bangladesh bats first and loses
2) Bangladesh bowls first and loses
3) Bangladesh bats first and wins
4) Bangladesh bowls first and wins

Mods: Please merge the previous posts by me on the same topic

Why is everyone so hyped up about this match, the winner of the match is already decided by Allah, and no one but Him knows the result. We all would like BD to win, but given the fraility of their batting, one cannot be sure. Hope that their bowling and fielding comes out good.

If it is decided, what does it matter what we or the players do?

Remember either, God helps those that help themselves, or as an alternative the old Afghan proverb - if God is with you, why hurry? If God is against you, why hurry?

- as absolutely myself

To me this poll is a fail. You cannot seriously ask a Bangladeshi to pick options 1 & 2. So that leaves option 3 & 4. I would be happy to vote if the poll had only those two options.

Sure you can. You just weigh in all the possibilities and reach the verdict.

Of course what you said is correct for someone who thinks with his heart.

On top of what I wrote earlier, I want to add that when we talk about the outcome of a match we can not just add options which says that Bangladesh will win. If so it would be a biased poll.

In retrospect, I forgot to add the options for tie and No Result.

If Bangladesh bat first then: Bangladesh 224/7 vs India 225/5 (in 45-50 overs)
If India bat first then : India 286/7 vs Bangladesh 245/8

Considering that match is day nighter, We do really need some luck going on our side starting from Toss. We need to win the toss and put India bat.

So, bowl first and win the match simple !

Indian bowlers arent bowling anyone out for less than 180
India batting aren't that good to do the impossible 340 runs in Mirpur

My prediction will be reasonable and realistic...Ind utilized everything (facilities, match practices, technology and power). Their preparation is very sound and also their cricket authorative power changed the financial aspect of cricket structure and pouring lot of money for a successful worldcup(!). I hope no conspiracy will happen, but they are really ready this time and won't make the same mistake what happened on 2007. But I wish our boys all the best and hope they will put all their efforts to win this game.

Bangladesh has to win three games to progress as per cricinfo, they all think that WI, Ireland and Netherlands will get beaten by the other teams and this gives BD a chance to progress
Let's hope that it works out and these 3 games are won with a few other upsets.
