Why wud we need to worry about hard hitters when we can't even post 200 most of the time? Ash, Tamim, Mashrafee are all hard-hitters, but they can't do both hitting and playing long innings at teh same time for some reason. If u have good technique, u don't need to hit hard. That's why Sakib prob has better strike rates than both Tamim and Ash. Just look at how fast Clarke/Amla score. They don't really hit that hard. Age defence ta shikho, tar por koro attack.
I think Ash really shud bat at no 6 and be our hard hitter for the last 15 overs in ODIs. Too bad we're short of batsmen at the top order.
