Apart from Md. Naim, our new faces have been disappointing.
We now lack good bowlers. Spin department is non-existent without Shakib. Despite saying this, it's good to see Shafiul and Al-Amin make a good comeback.
While Liton acts a s a part-time wicketkeeper in matches, I would have loved to see Nurul being groomed regularly in the side. While BCB have realized that specialist players are required for T20, they seem to have forgotten this about the test squad. Bowlers like Md Shahid and Subhashis Roy have been forgotten!
If I had to choose my best XI of 2019 ( irrespective of format ), I would choose
