I wrote a long post after Dr. Miraz's post. Due to 500 Internal Error Server or whatever my post didn't get posted.
I will try to recap that succinctly. Essentially I was playing the devil's advocate. However crass might the fundies be, they have a point.
You can't possibly be a drunkard and presume to run AA. You can't be anti-gun activist and be head of NRA. Sure it is upto Bhagvan, Khoda, Allah, God, YHWH to decide who is "Muslim" or not, but come'on y'all. If you are knowingly promoting a religion of idolatry coming from a religion that is iconoclastic to the truest sense and against polytheism, how on HELL can you possibly call yourself Muslim. Might as well just leave the religion and be 'proud' of it. But please don't kid yourself.
Full disclosure: I partially opened this thread as a tongue-in-cheek way to boost engagement by posting this link and the "Banor link" from Ittefaq. It seems Ittefaq has a way of gaining attentio with clickbait titles. However, my point still stands.
