He lost his edge as a FB long time ago. What he was doing the last 4-5 years was: knowing his physical limitation using his experience and intelligence to minimize his weakness and expoit his opponent's (batsman) weakness.
But we can do that for so long until the old and injured body revolt. I hope he is intellegent enough to know that now he is hurting his team and no point to extend this painful journey.
Its nothing wrong if, for the sake of the team, he take the next two games off due to injury/not fit enough. And no one will be blaming him for that. Ideally that should be the best he can do for the team right now.
