^umm... don't know about the others but as far as I remember Siddons actually cared. He used to go watch the first class matches, didn't take too many holidays, was very hands on with the players. He is tge one who worked on players averages and even now Mash admits that the coaches after Siddons just achieved success based on the foundation Siddons laid with his work. In fact I remember him standing around the boundary lines instead of sitting in the dugout and even remember him slapping his knee in frustration a number of times. Yes he wasn't tactically very astute but he gave a damn and focused on nurturing. A Siddons and Law/Haturu combo would probably have been good. I also think the previous British coach was also pretty good.
