Default only 2 fifties in 6 ODIs vs SL

Bangladeshi batsman have scored only 2 fifties in the 6 One Day Internationals that they have played against Sri Lanka from 1986 to the year 2000. One of the fifties is scored by Atahar Ali Khan probably in 1990 Asia cup (78) and Javed Omar Belim scored 85 in 2000 Asia cup.

It is interesting to note that after scoring both of these fifties, both batsman remained not out.

Atahar Ali Khan was adjudged man of the match - the first Bangladeshi to have done so for scoring the unbeaten 78 though being a player of the losing side.

Other batsman like Minhazul Abedin, Naimur Rahman, Atahar Ali Khan later, Akram Khan all have managed to get past 40-run-mark one time or another, but there are no more fifties for any Bangladeshi batsman against SriLanka in One Day Internationals.
