Cricket 101
A thread on the explanation on the jargons of cricket would be nice. I have been following cricket for the past 13+ years and I am not ashamed to admit that I still don't know the meaning of half-volley, left-arm orthodox, intricacies of lbw decision, googly, seam, off-cutter, names of the shot, etc...
Yes, one could always look them up in wikipedia or sth. but there is a big difference between a cut and dried soporific encyclopedia entry and a human response.
Just a thought...
