The day our team can just play an ordinary/normal game and be able to beat top teams is the day crictics will respect us the way we want. Something extraordinary by definition won't happen every day and consequently won't change perception.

Even if we beat India it will be remembered as a one-off event similar to the 2005 cardif win. We need to be consistently good and deliver results over a period of time. We have started to do that and already opposition teams do not take us lightly anymore. But we need to do a lot better. One stumping miss or one run out chance miss or one bad no ball call should not end our chances. We need to be able to create more winning moments in the match and create more wicket taking opportunities so that one missed chance is not the end of it all.

Once we are able to do that, respect will come our way from the critics.
