Indeed. You need the ooomph to merge quickly and power is a pre-req, specially in six lane mayhem of California. You can't turtle your way into it. Its risky. Folks wont slow down for you. I test drove an M5 ( certified one ) a few months ago and it scared the heck out of me. No sedan should be that powerful !
